Funding
The East Dorset Community Partnership supports a number of projects and initiatives to the benefit of East Dorset residents. Below you will find a number of resources that you can access to help you find funding for your particular project.
From time to time we also offer training and events around funding as part of the 'Building Communities Training' programme. Please refer to the diary for current information.
Currently £6,248 of Capital Funding is available for community based projects that will support “Active Transport” in East Dorset. The funding has been made available through the Communities for Health Programme funding, and from the Local Transport Plan and Improvements Group, of the County Council.
The funding which can only be used for capital expenditure can be combined with other funding to enable larger projects to progress, and used to secure matched funding where this is available. Applications need to be submitted by the 30th October. Full details and application packs are available on request from Simon Woodcock at East Dorset District Council.
This East Dorset funding website allows you to search for funding bodies that match your project criteria

Dorset Partnership for Older People Project (POPP) provides funding for older peoples projects that provide a supportive environment to help older people stay in their homes for as long as they wish.
