3rd July 2008
The rear of Heatherlands Centre is to have a new look with a professional graffiti art project –‘Your Space 2008’. The project which is set to take place during the week of the 11th August, is being organised by Julian Humphries of Dorset Police as a result of funding through the East Dorset Community Partnership.
Youngsters of 12 and 13 who take part will receive a Point Blank Certificate; where as those who are between 14 and 17 will be eligible to gain an Open College Network (OCN) qualification.
“This is a great opportunity for young artists to gain some real experience working alongside professionals, as well as putting their own mark on the centre.” said Julian.
If you are a young person aged between 12 and 17 and are interested in getting involved, contact Julian Humphries on 01202 222222 or by email at julian.humphries@dorset.pnn.police.uk.
