Alderholt

Alderholt is located on the edge of the Dorset just three miles from Fordingbridge on the edge of the New Forest. It boasts many beautiful pieces of scenery, woodlands, heathlands and commons. A variety of footpaths and bridleways provide access to all. Despite continued urbanisation Alderholt remains a close rural community and maintains a village feel. St. James church stands in the geographical center of the parish, but despite being displaced from the centre of settlement, the Church remains very much at the centre of the village community. This is reinforced by the annual St. James festival, when people from throughout the village come to share in the celebrations.
