Environment Theme Action Group
The Environment Theme Action Group brings to East Dorset skills and expertise on specialised environmental issues such as conservation, ecology including ecological aspects of climate change, environmental impact assessment and sustainability appraisal. We provide a unique forum for discussing and evaluating environmental aspects of policy and plans at District, County and Regional level and we submit detailed comments on consultations such as RSS, Local Development Framework, Waste and Minerals.
We also promote and support local wildlife and conservation projects such as Nature Watch Corfe Mullen and Return of the Natives and events that make nature fun for everyone, kids to grandparents. We are here to help Parish Plan groups take forward their environmental Action Plans. Just let us know what support you need.
Our members include several highly qualified conservationists and ecologists, representatives from a range of environmental organisations and members of Parish Plan Groups and Town/Parish Councils.
