Leigh Park Project
The Leigh Park Project arose out of the Health Theme Action Group, and has carried out survey work with local residents to discover what the key issues of concern are in that area.
The most important information from the survey was that over 88% of respondents felt that Leigh Park was a ‘good place to be’. The main issues identified for action were: local environment, facilities for young people, parking and a community building.
Caroline Harris from Dorset Community Action has been working with the residents to help them to achieve the improvements they would like to see.
